What is Virechan?

Virechana is a controlled purgation therapy that primarily targets Pitta dosha and expels accumulated toxins (Ama) through the anal route. It is used to eliminate excessive Pitta from the body and cleanse the liver, gallbladder, and intestines.

Mode of Action:

Elimination of Excess Pitta

  • Virechana removes accomulated Pitta from the liver, gallbladder, and intestines.

          Pacification of Kapha & Vata

  • Secondary elimination of Kapha clears mucus blockages.
  • Balances Apana Vate, improving bowel movement and digestion.
  • Eliminates Ama ( toxins ) from blood, improving circulation and skin health.
